The funeral of Former Bishop of Chilaw, Frank Marcus Fernando, who passed away on monday (24th) at the age of 78, will take place on thursday (27th) 3.00 P.M. at the Cathedral in Chilaw.

Thousand of Catholics arrived in chilaw to pay their last respects to the late Bishop.

He passed away at a private hospital in Marawila after a sudden illness. He served as Bishop of Chilaw for 34 years and retired in 2006
